If you meet Father Walker in his Church, bring a merc such as Trevor or Magic and pick the lock in his church. The player uses the I.M.P. site to build a custom mercenary character for use in the game. The commander can only do this once, but it is free. The whole process costs $3000.

After receiving an email message, the player may build custom mercenary by entering an activation code: XEP624. (GP97SL in Unfinished Business) Click "Begin" and you must provide basic information about your character (name, callsign and gender). After this it is a four step process.

Attributes
You start with 55 points for every attribute and several bonus points. Every attribute can range from 35 to 85.

* Physical attributes, such as health or dexerity, cannot be lowered than 35.

* Skills, such as medical and/or mechanical skills, can be set to 0 when you attempt to set it lower than 35. However, you only get 15 bonus points for having entirely no skill for it, so you should reconsider yourself of having no potential at all for just getting a very small amount of bonus.

Portrait
There are several portraits to choose from. In the mail, I.M.P. will 'analyze' your selection of portrait and voice, but it only decides the body type of your merc.

Voice
Three voices are available for each gender(male, female).

Portrait and voice
There are some new portraits and a new voice for each gender(male and female).

Personality and Traits
Traits are selected rather directly. You can select among one or two of available traits. Note that selecting one will make him/her be an expert(except ones like "Camouflaged"), and you can even give no traits to your merc(but not recommended).

However, when personality is concerned, you are forced to have only normal mercs when you are starting fresh. Otherwise, his/her previous personality is inherited.

Entirely the same system as the original.

Father Walker is a Catholic priest who has won the respect of the citizens of Drassen. His manners may be slightly unseemly for a member of the clergy - he obviously has a soft spot for Ira and he likes to drink - but he is the one man the mercenaries have to convince to send food supplies to Omerta. With Ira in their party, this shouldn't be a problem. He is a valuable ally to gain support in Drassen, but he won't join the mercenaries.

Location

Father Walker is usually found in the Church of Drassen (C13) during daytime. If he isn't in the Church, he's probably in the bar in D13. During the night he isn't present in either sector, so be sure to look for him during the day.

Bonuses

If you meet Father Walker in his Church, bring a merc such as Trevor or Magic and pick the lock in his church. Inside you will find (in a locked chest) a Remington M870 shotgun in reasonable state along with a few Buck Shot shells and a bottle of beer . If you used the GABBI cheat (CTRL+G A B B I), along with the "See all items and NPCs" cheat (ALT+E), you will also find an "Ownership" item.
